Doggie Rap is a song used in a few episodes of Doug. It is said to be Porkchop's favorite song. The lyrics consist of lists of dog breeds and canine-related tropes. The longer version is performed by Fred Newman, who also voiced Porkchop, Skeeter and various other characters.
Lyrics (Longer Version)[]
[Bark!] I'm a dog, you're a dog, everybody do the dog
Betcha gonna do the dog all day long
Doberman Pinscher, Beagle, Pekinese [Bark!]
Corgi, Collie, Bulldog, Great Pyrenees
Chase a car, there you are, sleepin' 'round the clock
Waitin' for the cable man to chase around the block [Bark!]
[Chorus of barks]
Miniature Schnauzer, Sheepdog, Spitz
Lhasa Apso, Poodle, Chihuahua, Mastiff
Labrador Retriever, Whippet, Harrier [Bark!]
Shih Tzu, Chow-Chow, Fox Terrier [Bark!]
[Chorus of barks and howls]
Scratchin' in the sunshine, diggin' in the dirt
Beggin' for a doggie treat, "Get off the furniture" [Bark!]
[Chorus of barks]
I'm a dog, you're a dog, everybody do the dog
Betcha gonna do the dog all day long
[Chorus of barks]
Miniature Schnauzer, Sheepdog, Spitz
Lhasa Apso, Poodle, Chihuahua, Mastiff
Doberman Pinscher, Beagle, Pekinese [Bark!]
Corgi, Collie, Bulldog, Great Pyrenees [Bark!]
[Chorus of barks as song fades out]
